Anne M. Simon

Anne M. Simon 92 of Fredericktown, PA (Deemston Boro) died Monday, March 17, 2008 in the Washington Hospital after a lengthy illness She was born October 12, 1915 in Bentleyville, PA a daughter of the late George and Mary Kratz Grdich. Mrs. Simon was a 1933 graduate of Centerville High School. A homemaker, Mrs. Simon was a lifelong member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish/St. Michael Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Fredericktown, PA where she was a member of the St. Oliver Plunkett Ladies Guild. Mrs. Simon enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, crocheting and swimming. She was instrumental as a caregiver to her parents and brother. Surviving is a daughter Patricia Morosky of Plum Boro, PA; one granddaughter, Paula Mardirossian (Gara) of Pittsburgh, PA; one sister Mary Zolensky (Walter) of Indianna, PA and a great grandson Nicholas Mardirossian. Several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband Carl (Jiggs) Simon, one brother George Grdich and a son-in-law Thomas Morosky.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, PA where a Blessing Service will b held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2008 with Rev. Paul Grunebach officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
